Are you tired of paying for a lead three other guys bought the same morning? Driving across town to price a job for somebody who was never going to hire anyone? Writing estimates at nine at night? Chasing an invoice three weeks after the work is finished?

None of that time gets paid for, and it comes out of the day you meant to spend working.

So we put real prices on the site. A homeowner sees what the job costs before they ever reach you, which means the people who were never going to hire anybody sort themselves out before you get in the truck. What comes through is priced, booked and scheduled, and the billing is handled.

The network is the part I wanted most. Running one of these companies is isolating. You are the estimator, the dispatcher, the bookkeeper and the man in the truck, and nobody around you has a real idea what that week looks like. Foundry is a network of operators in this city carrying the same load. You are not the only one.

1The money

Paid in two business days

Send photos of the finished work and payment starts. You are paid the rate you accepted whether or not the customer has settled with us, so you are never waiting on a homeowner's mood or a forty five day term. Chasing them is our problem.

We eat after you do

Our share comes out of what the customer pays, and you are paid before that has landed. If a homeowner drags their feet it is our money sitting out, not yours. That is the right way round, and it is the part most platforms have backwards.

Materials money reaches you first

You buy the materials and we send the customer’s deposit before the job starts, so you are buying with our money rather than waiting on a reimbursement. Keep the receipt and the rest settles with your payment when the work is done.

You set your own rates

You tell us what you charge, trade by trade, and that is the number on every offer you are sent. We do not set your price and we do not shave it. If your rate goes up, tell us and it goes up.

Nothing to join

No monthly fee, no lead fee, no charge for the network, and no rank you can buy. If you never take a job you never pay us a penny, and if you take a hundred you still never pay us a penny that did not come out of a job you were paid for. There is one paid thing and it is entirely optional: our CRM, for running your own customers. It costs us money every month to keep running, so it costs you money to use. Nothing about being here depends on it, and plenty of people will never touch it.

Straight to your bank

Set up direct deposit once, through Stripe, and the money arrives on its own. It takes about two minutes and we never see your bank details.

2How work is handed out

The rate is on the offer

Every job email states what you are paid before you commit to anything, and declining costs you nothing.

First to accept takes it

An offer goes to every pro covering that trade and area at once, and whoever says yes first owns it. The rest are told straight away, so nobody drives out on a job that has already gone.

You are given the job, not the customer

The address, the scope, the photographs, and anything the customer said about the work. Not their name and not their phone number. Every message and every reschedule runs through us, so your evening is not spent answering a homeowner who wants to move Thursday.

We do the chasing

Booking, confirmations, reminders, the invoice and the follow up are ours. You are sent a job that is already priced, already paid for and already in the diary. Turn up and do the work.

Everything goes through us

If a customer wants more doing, send it to us. We price it and route it back to you, usually the same day. Going around us costs you your place on the list.

3What you run

Your own page, no password

One link shows every job you hold, what each pays, what you are owed and what has been paid.

Kept small on purpose

The roster is capped by trade, so the work that comes in is spread across fewer people. That is the difference between this and being one of four hundred names on a list.

Your own customers stay your own

This is not exclusive and it never will be. Keep your own clients, run your own jobs, work for whoever else you like. We are not trying to own your business, and a week where Foundry sends you nothing is a week you owe us nothing.

Your insurance, at Georgia’s floor

General liability, and current. We do not ask for a commercial auto policy, and workers’ compensation only once Georgia requires it of you, which is at three employees. We are not going to invent requirements to look serious.

4The network

A ladder, not a list

Apprentice while you find your feet, Journeyman once you have. Forged at twenty five jobs with a 4.7 and no strikes. Master of Trade is one seat per trade in this city, and it is somebody’s. Rank changes what you are sent first and what work you get access to, so it is worth having rather than something to put on a certificate.

Nobody buys their way up

There is no paid tier, because there is nothing to pay for. The only way up is jobs done well, on time, with the photos sent. Money cannot move you and neither can knowing me.

The group

A room of operators in this city carrying the same load. Work posted, gear argued about, prices sanity checked, and somebody to ask at nine at night when you are staring at a job you have not priced before. Running one of these companies is isolating and it does not have to be.

You vouch, and it counts

Once you are established you can put somebody forward, and a good recruit is worth something to you. It cuts the other way too, which is the point: nobody vouches for a man who will embarrass them.

Where this stands today

The first contractors are being invited now, and the ladder above is what they are joining rather than something already running. The group opens when there are enough of us for it to be worth walking into. Said plainly because you will find out either way, and this page would rather tell you.

What we ask
Request an invitation

Foundry is a small network of owner-operators, not an open marketplace. We cap how many pros work each trade so the ones we have get real volume, rather than spreading thin work across a crowd. Every member has a conversation with us first, and the earlier you are on the list the more of the work comes your way.

Pick as many as you like. Jobs only reach you in the areas you tick, so it pays to be generous.

Outside Savannah? Ask anyway. We're opening new markets and we'd rather know you exist.

Just your normal price for each job, what you'd quote a customer today. It tells us what your work is worth around here, so we know your numbers before we start sending you offers. Rough figures are fine, and skip anything you'd rather talk through.

Already have one? Attach it and you can leave the questions below empty. PDF, photo or spreadsheet.

Tick the work you do, up above, and the jobs we'd send you for it will appear here to price.

Not a requirement. We'd just rather see the work than read about it.

Past customers, a supplier, or a contractor you have worked alongside. We ring them before your first job, and we tell them you gave their name.

Most of our network came in through someone already in it. If nobody sent you, say how you found us. That's fine too.

We verify this before your first job. No policy yet? Still ask. we'll talk about it.

A photo of your COI is fine. It saves us both a phone call and gets you working sooner.

Accept the agreement to continue.
