What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to make us delete it. We don't sell your information to anybody, and we never will.
1Who this covers
This policy covers foundryservicesgroup.com, operated by LowCountry Home Services LLC. It applies to homeowners and property managers who book work, and to contractors who apply to work with us. Where something applies to only one of those, it says so.
Contact: legal@foundryservicesgroup.com · 9563 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406
2What we collect
If you book a service
- Contact details, name, email, phone number.
- Service address, and any additional emails you ask us to copy on the quote (for example, a realtor sending a quote to their client).
- Property details you enter, lot size, surfaces, measurements, notes about the job.
- Photos you upload of the area to be worked on.
- Payment method, stored by Stripe, not by us. We hold a token, the card brand, and the last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.
- Job history, what was booked, what was quoted, what was approved, what was charged, and the photos of the finished work.
If you apply as a contractor
- Business name, contact details, and service area.
- The rates you charge for specific tasks, years in business, license number, insurance details, and your public business profile link.
- Notes you give us about your crew and capacity.
Automatically
- Standard server logs, IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps. Used to keep the site up and to spot abuse.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or card numbers through this site. If a page ever asks you for one of those, it isn't us, close it and tell us.
3Why we collect it
- To price your job and give you an accurate number.
- To brief the contractor doing the work, they need the address, the scope, and the photos.
- To schedule, confirm, and follow up on the work.
- To take payment for work you approved, and to send receipts.
- To handle problems, re-dos, damage claims, and refunds.
- To decide which contractors to work with, and to hold them to a standard.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or lead-generation companies. We are not a lead-gen business and your details are not a product.
The contractor doing your job
They get your service address, the scope, and your photos, which is what somebody needs to turn up and do the work. They do not get your name, your telephone number or your payment details. All contact runs through us: confirmations, arrival messages and follow-ups come from Foundry, and if the contractor needs something on the day they ask us rather than you.
They are contractually required to keep the address and the job details confidential and to use them only for your job.
Service providers who run the platform
- Stripe, payment processing and card storage.
- Supabase, database and photo storage.
- Vercel, website hosting.
- Resend, transactional email (quotes, confirmations, receipts).
- Twilio, the phone line, voicemail, and text messages.
Each is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us.
When the law requires it
We'll disclose information if legally compelled, or where necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If we're allowed to tell you, we will.
If the business is sold
Customer information may transfer to a buyer as part of the business. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.
5Text messages
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only to send you messages about your own jobs, and are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers them.
If you give us your number, we may text you about your booking: confirmations, arrival windows, delays, completion. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your service, we'll email or call you instead.
6Photos
Photos you upload are stored with your job record and shown to the contractor assigned to it. Photos taken by contractors on completion are stored with the job and emailed to you.
We will not use photos of your property in marketing without asking you first , and if you say no, nothing about your service changes.
Please don't upload photos showing other people, documents, or anything you wouldn't want a contractor to see.
7How long we keep it
- Job records, seven years. Tax, accounting, and the possibility of a later dispute about work performed.
- Photos, two years after the job, then deleted, unless attached to an open dispute or claim.
- Payment records, as required by our processor and by tax law.
- Contractor applications, two years if we don't work together; for the relationship plus seven years if we do.
- Server logs, 90 days.
8Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it.
- Stop emailing or texting you.
Email legal@foundryservicesgroup.com. We'll respond within 30 days. We won't charge you for it and we won't treat you differently for asking.
Some records we have to keep, a completed job with a charge against it is a financial record. If we can't delete something, we'll tell you what and why.
9Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Card data never touches our servers, it goes directly to Stripe. Access to customer records is limited to people who need it to do their job, and administrative access is password-protected.
No system is perfectly secure, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever have a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you as required by Georgia law.
10Cookies
We use only what the site needs to function, keeping you signed in to an admin session, remembering where you are in the booking flow. No advertising cookies. No third-party trackers. Nothing follows you off this site.
11Children
This site isn't for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
12Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top changes. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we'll email you before it takes effect.
